De 9 Straatjes is part of the Amsterdam Canal District that is on the Unesco World Heritage listing, since 2010. De 9 Straatjes in Amsterdam offer a variety of shops, restaurants, hotels, museums, architectural buildings, culture and art.
De 9 Straatjes run between the main canals of Amsterdam: Singel, Herengracht (Gentlemen Canal), Keizersgracht (Emperor Canal) and Prinsengracht (Princes Canal).
Between the Singel and Herengracht run, parallel to each other, the three streets:
- Gasthuismolensteeg - Oude Spiegelstraat - Wijde Heisteeg
Between the Herengracht and Keizersgracht run, parallel to each other, the three streets:
- Hartenstraat - Wolvenstraat - Huidenstraat
Between the Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht run, parallel to each other, the three streets:
- Reestraat - Berenstraat - Runstraat
